ROLLER CLEAN is an automatic water filtration device for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It mechanically removes suspended particles and other impurities such as debris, food, organic waste from the aquarium, and at the same time restores clearer water.

Innovative!
The particularly innovative ROLLER CLEAN system makes it very easy to change the roll of filter cloth. Indeed, it is designed in 2 parts:

- the first is a receptacle which is attached to the edge of the aquarium or the technical tank
- the second is a support cassette for the filter fleece roller allowing it to be very simply removed for any maintenance or roller replacement operation.

Automatique !

The automatic operation of the ROLLER CLEAN is ensured by a drum motor and a level sensor connected to a controller. The latter controls the entire system according to the clogging of the filter veil.

The water arrives by gravity in the receptacle of the ROLLER CLEAN, passes through the filtering veil, which rids it of its impurities. Over time, the filter cloth becomes clogged with dirt particles, reducing its filtration capacity at the same time. As a result, the water level rises in the receptacle until the level sensor is activated, which will order the controller to rotate the drum motor. This rolls up the dirty filter cloth, placing a new clean part under the flow of water. After this operation, the water level drops again and the drum motor stops automatically. This cycle will continue until there is no more filter cloth on the roller, which will need to be replaced at this time.

Simple !

To replace the filtering fleece roll, nothing could be simpler: Just take the support cassette out of its receptacle, remove the dirty fleece roll from the cassette, replace it with a clean fleece roll and replace it again all in the receptacle.

Setting!

Depending on the position of the level sensor in the support cassette, it is possible to determine the winding frequency of the filter veil (the veil will be more or less loaded).

The window !

By opening the lower window on the left side of the support cassette, part of the water will no longer pass through the filter mat. This adjustment is very important because after a certain time of use of the ROLLER CLEAN, the water could become too poor in nutrients and in this case not all the water must pass through the filter veil.

In colour !

The controller is equipped with 3 LEDs of different colors which, when lit, give the following information:

Green LED: the controller has triggered the rewinding by the drum motor of the filter veil,

Blue LED: the level sensor is blocked, the controller has detected too long a solicitation of the level sensor during winding of the veil,

Red LED: the drum motor is blocked, the controller analyzes the power of the motor during its operation and stops it if it is too busy.

The density and structure of the ROLLER CLEAN filter veil are specially determined to be used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Because of this, the ROLLER CLEAN filter mat removes larger waste particles that can be a source of excess high nitrates and phosphates, but does not fully remove nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. Likewise, the filter fleece also does not remove salts and trace elements from the water, thus guaranteeing stable aquarium water parameters.

The structure and density of the ROLLER CLEAN filter veil allow a much greater flow of water compared to some similar products. They also ensure faster drying of the veil after the filtration process.

The ROLLER CLEAN filter cloth does not affect the proper functioning of protein skimmers.

The ROLLER CLEAN filter cloth has obtained a positive opinion from the National Animal Production Research Institute in Poland, which is the result of more than three years of detailed research, in experimental freshwater and saltwater aquariums .

The mounting brackets allow mounting on the rim of an aquarium or a sump up to a glass thickness of 8 mm with a possible height adjustment of approximately 12 cm.

A roll of filter cloth lasts 1.5 to 3 months depending on the settings and contamination of the aquarium.

The standard length of a roll is approximately 42 m, the maximum flow that can pass through the filter veil is 8000l/h.
