Setting up a reef aquarium has become very easy and simple. Standard glass aquariums as well as lamps, sea salt, living stones and animals can be obtained from every dealership. In terms of technology, there are currently new and streamlined solutions available with an internal filter technology, which are also compact and very efficient. The new TUNZE Comline Reefpack 500 consists of a Comline DOC Skimmer 9012, Multifilter 3168 with replacement filter cartridges, the Osmolator 3155 and a reservoir tank with a capacity of 27 liters (7 USgal.).
The TUNZE Comline Reefpack 500 is designed solely for the purpose of dirt extraction, and doesn't contain a biological component, and only requires a minimum of 10 kg living stones in the aquarium. This technological advantage is not a competitive factor for the bio-dynamics of the reef habitat. Just like all Comline components, the Reefpack 500 can be combined with additional elements, for example, the calcium unit, calcium dispenser or other Multifilters. The Reefpack 500 is delivered packaged in a reservoir tank with 27 liters (7 USgal.) volume, completely pre-assembled with TUNZE filter media and the Silence Magnet Holder for a glass thickness of up to 15 mm (1/2"). After the device is installed, the bucket is used as a storage reservoir tank for the water level control.
