The surface suction provides very efficient filtration by ensuring that only water from the surface of the aquarium passes into the rear filtration compartment. The surface suction is easily removable for regular maintenance.

Fed by a unique surface suction that directs water to a bespoke micron bag filter, the rear decanter includes a quiet REEF-SPEC protein skimmer, Sicce 950 L/h return pump and 100g of REEF-SPEC carbon for maintain crystal clear water.

The heart of the filtration system is the protein skimmer. The NANO skimmer meets Red Sea's REEF-SPEC criteria for SPS corals, circulating the entire volume of aquarium water through the skimmer approximately 3 times per hour, with a water to air ratio of 3 for 1.
