The CO2-X-Globuli are filled into a suitable, airtight and transparent empty filter (e.g. AquaCare MF2). The skimmer sucks its supply air through the CO2 adsorber filter.

When the adsorber capacity is exhausted, the granules turn purple. The granules must then be replaced.

Functional description :

The AquaCare CO2-X-Globuli are semicircular carriers coated with calcium hydroxide. If air flows past the X globules, the CO2 is absorbed and bound. No further carbon dioxide can get into the seawater and does not form carbonic acid and cannot lower the pH value.
When the material is saturated and not effective anymore, it turns violet. Then it must be removed (household waste) and replaced with new AquaCare CO2-X globules.

achtung If the skimmer is operated with an air dryer and ozone unit, the sequence of the filter stages must be strictly adhered to:

- outside air
- AquaCare CO2-X globules
- air dryer (e.g. AquaCare LTM)
- ozone generator (e.g. AquaCare ozone generator)
- skimmer (e.g. AquaCare ACF)

achtung This filter material should never come into contact with the aquarium water. Make sure that it is impossible for water to flow back into the CO2-X globules filter.

If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting
In case of contact with skin: Wash with plenty of water
In case of contact with eyes: Gently rinse with water for several minutes. If possible, remove any contact lenses. Continue rinsing.
Protect from sunlight.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 50°C.
