With the Smart stir, it is no longer necessary to shake the water sample between each step. Just place the test vial in the device, with the supplied stir bar, press the button and the Smart Stir will mix the sample as you add reagents. In addition, the white color of the base makes it possible to see the color change at the very moment it occurs.
Smart Stir incorporates a rechargeable lithium battery that can easily be recharged using the supplied USB cable, as soon as the low battery light indicates it is needed. To save battery, a built-in automatic shutdown device turns off the Smart Stir after 5 minutes of continuous operation.
