How it works
The Ultra Reef UZ range of zeolite reactor is a filter that allows the use zeolite as reported by different management methods. The zeolite inside the reactor is crossed by water in the opposite direction to gravity and it can be shaken and mixed by acting on the upper lever
PRODUCT FEATURES
An efficient and essential product
Our zeolite reactors are an essential accessory for the management of zeolite in marine reef aquariums. Designed with dual-chamber structure and vertical shaking, thanks to the robust structure they resist the heavy task of shaking the zeolite.Double chamber design
The reactor is composed of two chambers, one external that perform overflow and one internal that contains the Zeolite. Unlike traditional single chamber reactors, this design allows an easy shaking with no risk that zeolite may become jammed between the piston and the chamber, streaking the pipe and jam the device. The inner chamber is equipped with a double diffusion plate to diffuse the flow of water, ensuring a constant and homogeneous circulation.Strong and durable structure
Most of the reactor is made with PVC components machined from solid and bolted together. The absence of small moving parts gives the structure an excellent solidity. The exhaust is adjustable to direct discharge flow in the most suitable point. The cover is secured on the body by screws. In case of spills prevents the opening of the reactor and allows a drive of the piston in total safety.Innovative Easy-Flip gasket system
The external chamber is secured with a double "Easy-Flip" gasket, so it is possible to disassemble it completely and rotate the position of the charge and drain line.Versatile connection system
The load hose can be connected to the filter using the hose connection supplied. Alternatively, the hose connection can be replaced with any commercial fitting with thread 1/2" or 3/4” (according to size).Easy and thorough maintenance
