The GHL Versia Controller (PL-1996) is the communication bridge between the Versia® pumps and the ProfiLux® 4 aquarium controller. Designed for smart, reliable and flexible flow management, it allows you to connect up to 2 Versia® pumps and fully customize their operation from your GHLecosystem.
Complete, automated control
The Versia Controller automatically detects connected pumps, sends their information to the ProfiLux® and adjusts their speed in real time. Thanks to the integrated graphic display, you can see at a glance:

- ⚙️ The actual speed of operation;
- 🌡️ The current state and temperature;
- 🚨 Possible alerts (blockage, dry running, overheating, etc.).
Infinitely customizable programs
The ProfiLux® offers an unrivalled range of brewing modes : constant speed operation, random cycles, tide simulation, diurnal variation, or special modes for feeding, maintenance or thunderstorms. Up to 16 pumps can be coordinated to replicate the most realistic natural reef conditions.
With the toolsGHL Connect (mobile app) or GHL Control Center (PC), configuration becomes simple, fast and intuitive: adjust, synchronize and save your settings in a few clicks.
Fail-safe: the emergency program
The Versia Controller continuously monitors the communication with the ProfiLux®. In the event of a loss of signal or failure, it automatically triggers an autonomous emergency mode : your pumps continue to operate according to a program predefined by the user (constant speed, wave, min/max, etc.). This feature ensures that your biotope is protected even in the event of a technical incident.

What is the Versia GHL controller used for?
The GHL Versia Controller provides communication between the Versia® Flow/ Stream pumps and the ProfiLux® aquarium controller. It allows the speed, flow and operating modes of the pumps to be precisely managed and synchronized, while ensuring their real-time monitoring.
How many pumps can be connected to a Versia controller?
The Versia Controller can control up to two Versia® pumps, regardless of their combination (Flow or Stream). The pumps are automatically detected, and their status is transmitted to the ProfiLux® via the PAB communication bus.
How does the Versia controller communicate with the ProfiLux?
The Versia Controller connects to the ProfiLux® 4 via the ProfiLux Aquatic Bus (PAB) cable. This bidirectional link transmits information about the pump models, their speed, temperature and possible faults (blockage, dry running, overheating).
Can I create custom programs for pumps?
Yes, the ProfiLux® offers advanced programming options: tides, random waves, daily variations, maintenance, feeding or thunderstorms. Up to 16 pumps can be coordinated to simulate complex natural conditions.
What happens if the ProfiLux no longer communicates with the Versia Controller?
In the event of a loss of communication (e.g. damaged cable, ProfiLux® failure), the Versia Controller automatically activates a stand-alone emergency program. This keeps the pumps running according to a user-defined profile (constant speed or waves, with min/max limits).
How do I adjust and monitor the settings of the Versia Controller?
Adjustments are easily made via the GHL Connect mobile app or the PC GHL Control Center software. The integrated graphic display also displays the speeds, statuses and temperatures of the connected pumps in real time.
