Conditions of shipping offered

We are pleased to offer you the shipping costs according to the following thresholds:

  • France: Free from € 69 relay point and € 150 at home.
    New - Members Recif'Art Prime : Free from € 69 at home (France).
  • Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands: Free from € 200.
  • Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia: Free from € 350.

⚠️ Important note: Some items are not affected by free (salt, sand, some aquariums, heavy / bulky or fragile products, some spare parts). This exclusion is indicated on the product sheet in the "Product Details" tab.
For difficult access areas (mountain, islands), a package of 7.20 € TTC remains applicable.

Deliveries and returns

Delivery of your package

Packages are usually shipped in 1 to 2 business days after receipt of your payment for products displayed in stock. A red insert allows you to have an estimate of the delivery date. It is only an estimate, the deadlines may vary depending on independent parameters of our will. In the case of out-of-stock products, the estimated date takes into consideration that the products in question are in stock at the supplier. Otherwise, the deadlines can be extended without it incumbent. Whatever the selected shipping mode, we will provide you as soon as possible a link that will allow you to follow online delivery of your package. Shipments are made around 10:00 in the morning. Any order past after this hour will be shipped the next morning.
Any order with an article out of stock will be waiting for the time of the replenishment of the latter. You can decide at any time to remove the item blocking your order in order to ship at the earliest.

RM1: If the withdrawal of this article passes the amount of the command below the free shipping threshold, the shipping costs are then due.
RM2: If you wish to receive your order twice and if the amount of one of the two commands is below the free shipping threshold, the port is then due for the order in question.

REMAINING POST: only the item provides this service, do not enter a postal post to the remaining position if you choose the extension for delivery of your package.

Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postal fees. They may contain a fixed part and a variable part depending on the price or weight of your order. We advise you to consolidate your purchases into a single order. We can not group two separate orders and you will have to pay shipping costs for each one. Your package is shipped with insurance, the insurance is only valid if you inspect the package at reception and you have a reserve for signature, but in all cases particular care is brought to the package containing fragile products.
You also have the opportunity to pick up your order at our deposit, the shipping costs are free! Please contact us to make an appointment and look for your order (department 67).
If the delivery can not be done at the address you have transmitted, the carrier filed a notice of passage and you will be invited to either be reworked at this address or to seek your package in the carrier agency in question. If, passed the custody period of your package you do not look for it, you become charged with transportation costs incurred.

Some products with mandatory shipping leave directly from the supplier. If you are part of the local group that can recover your order on site, these fees are not automatically charged when ordering, we will contact you to inform you that delivery charges are needed and you propose either to pay them or to cancel your order and refund fully.

Guaranteed deadlines

Only Colissimo (France 48:00) and Chronopost (France 24:00) guarantee delivery times and may be compensated for shipping costs in the event of delay (depending on the current rate of the carrier in question). This compensation is paid to you in the form of a voucher. All other carriers give delivery times as an indication and non-contractual. These deadlines are provided for information purposes only and no compensation or damages can not be claimed for delay. Any delivery within time can only take place if the buyer is up to date with his obligations to the company Recif'Art.

Aquariums and terrariums : Aquariums and terrariums are subject to any particular care regarding shipping. The latter are delivered by specialized carrier, on pallet, and totally wrapped with shock protection. In addition, insurance is subscribed, so you are totally covered in case of problems. Delivery times are 7 to 10 days for aquariums in stock (one must count the preparation of the dispatch on pallet, and a transportation by specialized carrier with the greatest care).
The carrier calls you before delivery to arrange an appointment. You can then arrange for its reception.
It goes without saying that aquariums are not delivered via email, but by specialized carrier. This logistics requires preparation and delays above other articles on the shop. Thus, the deadlines announced by courier do not concern this type of specific product.
The aquariums are delivered at the foot of your house by the carrier. The latter can not deliver upstairs or in your home. If you need to carry the aquarium in your home or install it, you must arrange to perform this action, in no case is the delivery man authorized to do these manipulations.

Cold groups : Cold groups TECO and Titan are shipped on pallet with specific protection. Since these devices are sensitive to shocks and to stay at the location, we do not expedient these items by courier for the reasons mentioned. We are therefore required to participate in the shipping costs. This avoids your cold group damaged or with a problem that will appear a few months or years later.


Returns

You can return all or part of your order without any justification within 14 days of receipt of your package. The returned items will be fully refunded. The return fee are your responsibility. In case of parcel refusal upon receipt of your order as part of a retraction, the return fee will be offset of your repayment at the rate of the carrier used.
The refund of your articles will be after consideration from us: the products must in no way have been used and they must be returned to them in their original packaging, in the exact state in which you received them. We also kindly ask you to return the products in an additional package (do not label directly on the original packaging) to keep it intact.

Spare parts are not accepted in return.

RM: Every return, whatever it is, must be validated by the Society Reef'art. If you send by your own means and that the return should be at our expense, Recif'Art may refuse support and best compensate the customer up to a return via GLS.

RM2: Whatever the return, a document to identify you must be attached (invoice, mail, word handwritten ...) so that we can identify you.

Returns

Most items are under manufacturer's warranty, contact us for the procedure to follow. For others, articles returned as part of a service are reviewed by our technician who will return feedback on the action to be put in place to repair or exchange the article in question. In the event of a lack of a fee of forty euro tax incl. TTC can be charged for the time spent, the return fee is also at your expense.

Warranty

The materials are guaranteed by the manufacturer. If you wish to play the warranty on a defective material, you can either contact the manufacturer directly or contact us to set up the terms.

Break during transport

Our shipments are done with insurance. This insurance can only be effective if you refuse the damaged package at reception. If you sign and accept the package the responsibility is transferred.

Delivery zone

We ship all over the world. Countries outside the EEC can buy out taxes (prices update automatically when you register and you specify an EU delivery address).
The announced costs of non-EU delivery are indicative. With the new method of calculating the post (volumetric weight) it is difficult for us to estimate the cost precisely. If the latter differs from the estimate we will contact you to inform you and ask for your agreement.
With the GLS carrier a supplement is charged for hard-to-reach areas such as mountainous areas or islands. The shipping costs above the free threshold for the GLS carrier are then more free and only have the supplement (the rest being at our expense).
