Seachem Reef Phytoplanktontm 500 ml is a concentrated mixture of green and brown phytoplankton of sizes between 1 and 20 μm, ideal for feeding corals, filterers and many tropical invertebrates. This combination of selected microorganisms provides a complete spectrum of essential elements: fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, carotenoids, lipids and organic pigments.
Unlike many classic phytoplankton, this mixture is enhanced to increase bioavailability nutrients: corals spend less energy to assimilate intakes, which promotes healthy growth and optimal coloration.

Instructions for use
Shake well before use. Add 1 stopper (5 ml) per 200 L twice a week, or adjust according to coral needs. For optimal results, dose directly into theaquarium. Avoid the target feeling which can saturate corals. Recommended cooling after opening.

What is the difference between Reef PhytoplanktonTM and Reef ZooplanktonTM?
Reef Phytoplanktontm is a mixture of algal phytoplankton, ideal for soft corals and filterers. Reef ZooplanktonTM contains animal sources such as artemia and rotifers, recommended for LPS and SPS corals.
Must I keep Reef Phytoplanktontm in the refrigerator after opening?
It's not mandatory. The product contains preservatives to maintain its quality at room temperature. Refrigeration is recommended to prolong freshness.
Is there any dedicated food for copepods?
Seachem does not propose food dedicated to copepods, but Reef PhytoplanktonTM and Reef ZooplanktonTM can be used to feed them. Some users also use Reef Phytoplanktontm to feed rotiferous crops.
Can I feed in spot-feeding with Reef PhytoplanktonTM?
It is better to avoid spot-feeding. As this product is concentrated, it is best to disperse it in the tray (-). Targeted feeding can stress sensitive coral tissue.
How to properly dose Reef PhytoplanktonTM?
Shake before use and add 5 ml for 200 L twice a week. Avoid overnourishing to avoid saturating corals and maintain optimal growth.
