🛠️ A universal filter for all configurations
The MF2 filter ofAquacare is not a simple reactor. It is a modular solution capable of practically handling all aerobic filtration processes. Its strength lies in its hybrid system Unique: A magnetic lock allows an instantaneous opening / closing for the current maintenance, while plastic screws secure the set for pressurized installations (up to 3 meters).

💡 Flexible installation: The MF2 can be installed in the sump, outside the aquarium (wall mounting or hanging) or even inside the housing. For very fine materials (sand), we recommend the addition of a cleaning valve on the auxiliary connection.

What filter materials can be used in this reactor?
This filter accepts a wide range of media: activated carbon, zeolite, quartz sand, anti-phosphate resins, biopellets (Poc + globuli) and sulfur granules. Its design even allows you to use lighter materials than water with inverted fluidized bed mode.
Where can the filter install Aquacare MF2?
Its modular design offers a great freedom of installation: inside the (sump) discount, externally next to the aquarium, in "hanging" mode on the glass, or even via a wall mount.
What is the hybrid closure system Aquacare ?
It is an innovative locking system: it uses a magnetic lock for quick and low pressure screw handling (up to 0.3 m), and can be reinforced with plastic screws for higher pressure use (up to 3 m).
Is this filter adapted to seawater and fresh water?
Yes, made in Germany in high quality Acrylic glass (PMMA), it is fully corrosion-resistant and is ideal for aerobic processes in freshwater such as seawater.
