The Nyos® calcium + 4 kg is a professional reef additive based on Calcium chloride of high purity. It is specially formulated to correct or maintain an optimal calcium rate in marine aquariums, a prerequisite for healthy sps, LPS, benier and limestone algae.

Thanks to its high purity, calcium + dissolves easily and does not introduce unwanted elements in the water. It can be used as well in pre-mixed solution that direct dosage, depending on the maintenance habits of the aquarium.

Dosage - pre-mixed solution (recommended)

Mix 1000 g calcium + in 2,000 ml of osmosis water (RODI). The solution obtained contains 135 000 mg / l of calcium.

7.4 ml of this solution increase the calcium rate of about 10 mg / l in 100 liters seawater.

Direct dosage of the powder

The powder can be added directly into the sump or pre-dissolved in water from the aquarium. 37 g calcium + increase the calcium rate of 10 mg / l in an aquarium of 1,000 liters.

TIPS OF USE

It is recommended to measure the calcium rate of the aquarium at least once a week to accurately adjust the dosage. Calcium stability contributes directly to the health and sustainable growth of the reef.
