D-D Funktion Pumps are versatile DC pumps equipped with an innovative digital controller that features three distinct wave modes and a constant running setting. These pumps serve various purposes, including use as a return pump, for operating fluid reactors, or as a closed-loop pump (applicable to 5000/6500/10000 models only).
Designed for both saltwater and freshwater applications, these pumps utilize sine wave technology and a low-voltage motor to ensure ultra-low operating noise, minimal heat generation, and high energy efficiency.
Key Features:
Complete range of high-flow pumps with a compact footprint
Unique digital controller with 3 wave functions and constant flow mode
Enables pulsating return for additional variable water movement in the aquarium
Sine wave technology ensures low operating noise
Low tension and energy-efficient motor
Suitable for both saltwater and freshwater setups
Wear-resistant ceramic shaft and bearings
Splash-proof connection between pump and controller
Pulsating Return:
Utilize the special controller in PULSE mode to pulse your return, allowing the water returning from your sump to act as an additional source of variable flow in your aquarium. The rapid transition between high and low flow is designed to maintain a stable water level, minimizing noise from overflow.
Flexible Installation:
Models 5000, 6500, and 10000 can be installed externally
All models are fully submersible
Pump
outlet can be positioned upward, left, or right
Standard suction cage included for normal submerged use
Quick-torque unions included for easy pump removal
Multiple pipe connections included
Elephant Nose:
Each pump includes a special "Elephant Nose" suction attachment, allowing water to be drawn from the bottom of the tank or sump, addressing surface swirls and reducing the transfer of bubbles from the sump while collecting detritus for removal by your ClariSea.
Controller Features:
Unique multifunction digital controller with touchpad
Backlit color LCD display with adjustable screen brightness
Multilingual display with screen saver
4 different flow modes
Adjustable minimum and maximum power settings in wave and pulse modes
Adjustable maximum power in pump mode
Power mode and on/off functions
Dry-run detection with automatic shut-off function
Removable mounting bracket
Wave Modes:
The pump can be set to operate continuously as a standard return pump or to power fluidized reactors. The controller allows adjustment of the flow setting between minimum and maximum power settings, creating a constant wave output.
Constant Wave Mode:
A consistent wave output is generated as the pump cycles between minimum and maximum power settings.
Frequency and power settings on the controller can be adjusted to modify the length and size of the wave.
Standing Wave Mode:
The pump alternates between low and high power settings to create a standing wave.
Frequency and power settings are customizable on the controller.
Random Flow Mode:
The pump output alternates and varies between different power settings at varying frequencies, creating a random flow pattern.
Ideal for stirring up waste for efficient elimination through filtration.
