Tropic Marin® All-for-Reef Powder is a highly concentrated, easy-to-use mixture after dissolving in reverse osmosis water for mineral and trace element feeding in new, medium-populated reef aquariums.

Application and dosage

Before you start using Tropic Marin® All-For-Reef as a supplement for your aquarium, it is advisable to adjust the calcium, alkalinity and magnesium levels of your system to the desired values. We recommend the use of Tropic Marin® Original Balling - Part A (calcium chloride) for calcium, Tropic Marin® Original Balling - Part B (sodium bicarbonate) for alkalinity and Tropic Marin® Bio-Magnesium.

Preparation of the solution from the powder:

The 800g box of All-For-Reef powder is sufficient for a 5 liter solution, the 1600g box for a 10 liter solution.

To prepare the Liquid Mineral Blend, dissolve 6 level scoops (approximately 160g) of Tropic Marin® All-For-Reef Powder in

approx. 900 ml of reverse osmosis water, which gives a total of 1 l of dosing solution.

Dosage:

Start with a daily dose of 5 ml of Tropic Marin® All-For-Reef for a volume of 100 liters (26 US-gal) of aquarium water. Increase the daily dosage weekly by 2.5 ml per 100 l aquarium volume until a constant carbonate hardness and calcium concentration are achieved

Once dosing is established and system parameters are stable, regularly measuring alkalinity or calcium levels will help monitor changes in your system and determine any necessary dosing adjustments. A periodic check of the corresponding parameter is sufficient. We recommend using calcium as an assay regulator, as conventional test kits are more sensitive (or more accurate) in their measurement of calcium concentration changes than in alkalinity changes with Tropic Marin® All-For-Reef.

Maximum dosage:

we recommend not to exceed the daily dose of 25 ml of Tropic Marin® All-For-Reef per 100 liters (26 US-gal) of aquarium water volume.

Noticed :

in some cases, calcium and alkalinity may evolve differently than if they were only consumed by the coral. If this happens and the balance of the parameters is lost, use the table to correct it.
