The AquaCare DFMZ measuring cell is designed to overcome distance constraints between your basin and your electronics. By allowing the installation of 4 bypass probes (bypass), it guarantees accurate and stable measurement of your parameters, even when your technical room is remote.
In large tank or aquarium facilities, measurement areas are often remote from controllers. Analog electrode cables must not exceed a critical length of about 5 meters to avoid interference and signal loss, the AquaCare 4 electrodes measuring cell offers the ideal solution: bring water to the probes, not the reverse.
This measuring cell (or chamber of passage) connects via a bypass circuit (bypass) using a pump. Your water aquarium or basin flows through the cell fluidly, passes in front of the sensors, then returns directly to the system. This continuous flow ensures that the electrodes are always in contact with water representative of the real parameters of your tank.
The DFMZ cell allows you to install up to 4 measuring sensors with a diameter of 12 mm. You can centralize the monitoring of:
Note: If you do not use the 4 locations, unexploited connections can be hermetically sealed using plugs (plugs) included.

The advice of the expert RecifArt: To ensure the accuracy of your measurements over the long term, we recommend placing this cell on a mechanically filtered water circuit. This will prevent the accumulation of sediment or debris on the sensitive tip of your electrodes. Also consider calibrating your probes regularly by insulating the cell with stop valves on your bypass circuit.
The DFMZ measuring cell is designed for large aquariums and basins where the technical area is far from the main basin. Since analog electrode cables must not exceed 5 meters to avoid signal loss, this cell allows water to be brought directly to the sensors via a bypass system.
This cell can accommodate up to 4 probes simultaneously. It is compatible with standard sensors of 12 mm diameter, such as pH, Redox potential (ORP), conductivity or temperature probes. If you use less than 4 probes, unused ports can be condemned with plugs.
The cell connects via a bypass using 20 mm PVC connectors. A dedicated pump pushes water from the basin to the measuring cell, and the water is then returned to the aquarium or basin after passing in front of the electrodes.
In large installations, the AquaCare flow cell guarantees a stable and accurate measurement by isolating the probes from the direct disturbances of the basin, while allowing easy maintenance without having to plunge hands into the aquarium water.
