Magnesium Hardness Checker HC
The hardness or hydrometric titer (TH) of water essentially corresponds to the presence of calcium and magnesium salts. It is directly linked to the geological nature of the terrain crossed. A calcareous soil will give hard water while a granite soil will produce rather soft water. The total hardness represents the sum of the calcium and magnesium hardnesses. Hardness is an important parameter in water softening processes.
The measurement of the hardness of the water before and after passing through a softener makes it possible to check the correct functioning of the device and to change the filtration membrane if necessary.
The HI719 model allows the measurement of magnesic hardness. Economical, practical and space-saving, it will be perfect for routine checks.
