Magnesium Checker
In seawater, magnesium influences among other things the solubility of carbonates and calcium carbonate, which promotes indirect-
ment the beneficial development of corals. The value of magnesium in the sea is around 1300 mg/L. In saltwater aquariums, a magnesium value between 1300 and 1350 mg/L is optimal. It is not wise to exceed these values, as this causes precipitates. Similarly, it is advisable to prevent the value of magnesium from falling below 1200 mg/L.
