The ICP Xtra A, B, C, D components can be used individually or combined to ensure supply according to the Balling or Balling Light method. It's uncomplicated to use and recommended to be added using a dosing pump.
ICP Xtra A
Sodium Bicarbonate
(NaHCO3)
For increasing carbonate hardness in saltwater aquariums.
Individual Component Usage:
3g of sodium bicarbonate per 100 liters of aquarium water increases carbonate hardness by approximately 1° dKH.
Balling Component Usage:
Prior to application, it is essential to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility at 20°C is about 93g of sodium bicarbonate per 1 liter of osmosis water.
Ingredient: Sodium Bicarbonate
UFI-Code: Not applicable
CE Number: 205-633-8
ICP Xtra B
Calcium Chloride Dihydrate
(CaCl2 · 2 H2O)
For supplying calcium in saltwater aquariums.
Individual Component Usage:
10g of calcium chloride dihydrate per 100 liters of aquarium water increases calcium content by about 2.7 mg/l.
Balling Component Usage:
Before application, it is crucial to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility is approximately: 1,280g of calcium chloride dihydrate per 1 liter of osmosis water.

ICP Xtra C
Salt without NaCl
For preparing a balanced salt mixture in a saltwater aquarium without sodium chloride.
Individual Component Usage:
Not recommended.
Balling Component Usage:
To use, it's essential to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water.
Dosage:
Dosage based on the quantity of added sodium bicarbonate:
For 100g of sodium bicarbonate, 37g of salt without NaCl is required.
Or
Dosage based on the quantity of added calcium chloride dihydrate:
For 100g of calcium chloride dihydrate, 80g of salt without NaCl is required.
