NitroMAX Pro represents a unique filter cartridge designed for chemical water filtration in freshwater aquariums, paludariums, and terrarium pools. These cartridges come in the form of fleece bags containing specially selected ion exchange resin, stabilized with a filler. They are intended for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water, which often lead to fish health problems and the growth of troublesome algae in aquariums.

The ion exchange resin used in NitroMAX Pro possesses exceptional absorption properties. Consequently, it captures toxic nitrogen compounds dissolved in the water, including nitrite and nitrate ions. This process safeguards fish from harmful nitrogen substances, reducing the need for frequent and large-scale water changes. Notably, it also effectively inhibits algae growth.

NitroMAX Pro is a versatile choice and can be used as a filter bed in canister filters, overflow filters, internal filters with compartments for loose media (such as TURBOFILTER), sumps, and filter chimneys. It is particularly recommended for aquariums with large fish populations and high levels of nitrogen compounds in the water. Implementing NitroMAX Pro helps reduce the frequency and scale of necessary water changes, ensuring appropriate and fish-safe water parameters.

One sachet provides filtration for approximately 70 liters of aquarium water for around 30 days. Each package of NitroMAX Pro contains three sachets, each with a capacity of 0.3 liters.

NitroMAX Pro is prepped for immediate use and doesn't require rinsing or additional preparation. Simply place the contents of the package into the filter basket or filtration chamber. For optimal results, it's recommended to position the NitroMAX Pro cartridge behind the mechanical and biological filtration cartridges.

NitroMAX Pro is suitable for AQUAEL filters, including UNIMAX, MIDIKANI 800, MINIKANI 80, MINIKANI 120, ASAP, and VERSAMAX.

As the NitroMAX Pro cartridge operates through sorption, it gradually fills and wears down. To maintain its peak filtration performance, it should be replaced at least every four weeks
