The Bubble Magus Automatic Fleece Filter eliminates the need for traditional filter socks. It operates by directing water from the aquarium's drain into an internal chamber containing filter fleece. As the filter fleece becomes clogged and the water level in the chamber rises, a float switch is triggered, activating the motor to roll up a fresh section of filter fleece. This action reduces the water level, and the process repeats.
