In community aquariums, the requirements of the fish kept towards food are as different as the species. JBL PRONOVO BEL takes account of the different types of feeding and offers a wide variety of foods for a healthy, natural diet. If you want to perfect this diet, supplement JBL PRONOVO BEL with other varieties from the JBL Special Species concept and with treats.
JBL PRONOVO BEL, staple food and perfect food for all omnivorous fish and fish communities. With a protein/lipid ratio of 6.3/1, it offers the ideal ratio for most tropical fish. It won't be a problem if your fighter eats the food intended for your bearded fish and vice versa. The important thing is to offer the right food for each group of fish. Diversity is always a positive factor!
Another important point: choose a food size suited to the fishes' mouths. Flakes soften quickly and will be sucked by almost all fish. Pellets are different. You need to take into account the smaller mouths of the fish you're keeping. The bottom left-hand corner of the cans indicates the size of the fish for which the food is intended. Choose a food that's too small rather than too big!
About garlic: of course, fish don't have garlic in their natural environment, but during JBL expeditions in the Pantanal, we've observed that fish forsake submerged plants and prefer to jump out of the water to eat the apparently tastier leaves of bank trees! These leaves have more taste than the "bland" leaves underwater. This is precisely the effect achieved by adding garlic.
