Sep-Art technology is an ingenious invention from the aquaculture world. Sep-Art artemia are not a species unto themselves. Sep-Art technology imparts a magnetic character to the shell of Artemia cysts. This new technology is very efficient and allows a quick separation between the cyst and the shell. Sep-Art cysts (90% hatching) are coated with a non-toxic magnetic product. The cysts are identical in appearance to normal Artemia cysts and the instructions for use are the same. After hatching, siphon off the nauplii and unhatched cysts into the Sep-Art separator. Unhatched cysts will be attracted to the magnet in the bottom of the separator. The free, non-magnetic nauplii are ready to use.
