ReefATO+ is designed to maintain stable salinity and water volume in a reef aquarium by automatically replenishing water lost through evaporation. In addition, ReefATO+ includes two other essential devices for the health of the aquarium: a connected digital temperature sensor and a leak detector.

Safe

Reliable level sensor (EC technology, one-piece) with integrated emergency stop.

Automatic shutdown if the sensor is not connected, if the pump runs longer than normal, if the osmosis water reserve is empty or if a leak is detected.

How it works

EC technology titanium probes sense water levels, triggering the pump to cycle on and off to maintain stable water levels and salinity.

Water level sensor

Heavy-duty water level sensor (one-piece EC technology), with built-in back-up sensors to stop the pump, located 2.5 cm above the normal stop level of the pump.

The Reef-Spec titanium probe set gives a real-time indication of the water level on the sensor, which can be viewed at any time on the ReefBeat app.

Temperature sensor, logs and notifications

The temperature probe integrated in the ATO+ sensor has been pre-calibrated to achieve an accuracy of ±0.1°C.

The ReefBeat app allows you to set a narrow "Desired" temperature range, and a slightly wider "Acceptable" range, which will be visible online in the ReefBeat app and in detailed temperature logs. In case the temperature is outside the Acceptable range, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.

Detailed logs show you the minimum, maximum and average temperatures in 15 minute intervals for the last 28 days.

Safe, powerful and quiet osmolator pump

Silent osmolator pump, variable flow, 12 vdc.

Cylindrical design with a diameter of 4.5 cm to fit in standard jerry cans.

Maximum flow 300 L/h, maximum head 2.5m, power 6-10W.

The Performance Controller automatically stops the pump and notifies you via the ReefBeat app if it is not connected, if it jams or if the RO water supply has run dry.

The pump flow is automatically adjusted according to your installation to maintain a flow rate of approximately 72 L/h ensuring a quiet and splash-free water flow in the settling.

The impeller chamber rubber damper cover and impeller can be removed for pump maintenance.

Includes a clamp nut on the outlet fitting for a secure silicone hose connection.

Leak detector

The ultra-sensitive Reef-Spec leak detector, with saltwater-resistant titanium probes, detects all types of water, from reverse osmosis to seawater.

If a leak is detected, the automatic filling of the osmolator is immediately deactivated, and after a few seconds to confirm that the leak persists, the controller emits an audible alarm (configurable) and sends a notification to your mobile.

Pair the Leak Detector with ReefBeat's Quick Action Emergency Stop mode and the ReefBeat ecosystem will automatically shut down other connected equipment such as ReefRun return pumps.
