Pristine provides bacteria that destroy excess food, waste and detritus in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It uses a natural, non-chemical method, bioaugmentation, to improve water quality. By breaking down sludge and detritus, it reduces the build-up of nitrates, nitrites and ammonia, reduces the risk of algae growth, increases water clarity, and therefore promotes the overall health of the aquarium and its fish. The bonus of this product is its long shelf life, up to 4 years after date of manufacture.

Instructions: Shake well before use. Turn off the UV/ozone. Use 1 capful (5ml) for 40L. Then use a maintenance dose of 1 capful (5ml) per 80L. Antibiotics should be removed with activated carbon and water change before adding bacteria. Wait 2 or 3 days for bacteria to establish before using UV sterilizers or ozone. Recurrent use of the product may indicate overcrowding of the aquarium, overfeeding or improper filtration for the aquarium.
