Also suitable as twilight illumination for freshwater aquariums. A blue fluorescent tube colour doesn’t automatically mean that the tube has an actinic spectrum. A tube with pure actinic spectrum is more likely to show a purple colour. JBL has found a way of combining a visually beautiful blue colour with a pure actinic spectrum.
