Is perfectly suitable as sole lighting for marine aquariums. A blue/actinic tube as the JBL SOLAR Marin Blue is well suited as a complement, but definitely not a mandatory requirement. The corals in aquariums don`t originally come from great depths but from the reef top or from coral farms. They therefore don’t “know” blue light, which prevails at great depths and can be simulated with blue tubes.
