The HI703004 Solution is a storage solution prepared with quality chemicals that are used to maintain peak performance of your pH and ORP / Redox electrodes.

It is important to store an electrode in solution in order to keep the glass electrode membrane hydrated. Ideally, a storage solution should be used; never store an electrode in distilled or deionized water, this will shorten the life of the sensor.

Hanna Instruments storage solution is specifically formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent any spillover effects. Storing your pH and / or ORP electrodes in a storage solution will also keep the junction clear. Keeping the layer hydrated and the junction clear will help ensure a quick and reliable measurement.

To ensure optimal response time, the glass sensor tip and electrode reference junction should be kept wet and not dry out when not in use. HI703004 solution can also be used to rehydrate the electrode after a cleaning procedure by soaking it for at least one hour before taking measurements.
